What do you do outside your regimen when you are going out for a special occasion?

Personally, I believe that hot combs are old-school, even though there are quite a few individuals who do not share my opinion. I love flat irons, especially the ceramic, tourmaline-based ones.

As for a special occasion? Well, I do not do anything really special, except add a few curls here and there, maybe a fresh flower. I have a small face, so I try to avoid really high maintenance styles with a lot of volume and height. Besides, flowers always bring out my features. That is about it.

Great but there are a few who still use hot combs. I never rule-out anything because I never know when my hair is going to need it. My hair is good for a while but then it changes and that's when I become insane!

My hair is not as unruly as it used to be. I think that is because I am actually investing some time and energy into my strands. I need to learn how to love conditioning my hair more than shampooing. Shampooing is wear it is!

I make my own shampoos. Once I learn to make my own conditioners, then I really can see a great improvement in my hair.

Here is the site I use to purchase my ingredients.

http://www.mountainroseherbs.com

You should check it out!

Here is the online catalog.
