I have tried Profectiv Growth Lotion...what a minute. I just want to be clear. Are you referring to the MegaGrowth lotion or the specialty lotion that in the Renew kit? Just curious?

Oh, okay, because I do not own the one in the Renew kit.

I purchased this product over a year ago. It made my hair really soft, especially when I flat iron my hair. My hair is a little backwards. I have to apply oil first, then follow with a moisturizer. I only apply oil before moisturizer when I am going to blow dry my hair, other than that, I just apply moisturizer and save the oil after I finish thermally treating my hair.

Did I make a second purchase of the product? No, because I found that it was good, but not great. I am a product junkie to the tee, so I change brands like I change jeans, and I love my denim Very Happy . So, I guess I'll make my own shampoos and purchase high quality conditioners, but not before I purchase my tabletop hard bonnet dryer.

B.T.W., do you happen to know of a really good brand of tabletop bonnets dryers that provides ionic and tourmaline properties for less than $100.00?

Thanks!

I know that National Liquidators sell a conair for $30 bucks. You can also check Sears & Roebuck stores. I have one myself and they are great for so many things. I hate products that leave my hair feeling heavy but I hear the new Profectiv Renew lotion is different.

You made me tear up a bit when you mentioned National Liquidators. The National Liquidators in my area recently closed down and the remainder of the merchandise was sold to the local Dollar Store. I know, whoop-de-doo! Sad. Anyway, I cannot comment on the Profectiv Renew Lotion because I have not tried this product. The shampoo contains sulfates, so if the shampoo is not right, I basically write off the entire system. I know, not the brightest idea? But that is my definition of rationalizing. I can be a bit of a spendthrift at times.

I am so sorry to hear they moved Angee. Cheer up there are the Sears stores and a lot of beauty stores sell them too. I hear that this Profectiv is a new type out now.

Ok So I couldn't resist and brought the Profectic Growth lotion and I must tell you that today, being day one, I like the feel already. I see shine and no heaviness to this lotion so far. I do like how it goes on and nourishes. I will keep all posted on this product for anyone interested. By the same token feel free to tell us all about any new product you are using too?

Ok the update on Profectiv it it still going well folks. I find that it is really great for blow outs of any kind and great for rollers and air dry. You really can't do no wrong with this. My hair is shiny and well groomed. There's no oily look to it and both Men and women can use it. Best of all it's filled with vitamins.

I am so pleased with this product that I decided to try the Root Recvoery Temple Stimulant. I will keep you all posted. By the way these are purchased at CVS stores, so if you see them check them out...
