Hi,

Lately i've noticed that when I have been brushing my hair for work that it seems to never stop coming out like strads here and strands there. I know that you have to loose a little but how consistent should it be? Maybe it is all the stress from the wedding!

It could be stress from your wedding, but I would recommend only brushing your hair to style it. The rest of the time just use a wide tooth comb. You could also try taking garlic pills if the shedding gets really bad. I've read that up to 100 hairs can shed in a day, but I REALLY don't ever want to see that in my comb!! HTH

The moment I started taking Garlic it ended the shedding process. You can buy the pills called Garlique or use the oil, powder or cloves in your conditoner for 20 minutes. This really works!

I was about to say the same.

use garlic for shedding (strands coming from the root) and eggs for breakage (bits of hair breaking off). And keep brushing hair to a minimum. Brushing causes stress on the hair. It should be used for just styling.

You must come to understanding of whether or not your hair is breaking or shedding. If your hair is falling out in clumps, it is shedding. However, if your hair comes out in strands, it is breakage.

To combat breakage, try a sage leaf and black tea herbal mixture. Not only does this reduces your hair breakage, but it works effortlessly for graying hair.
Add two 15-20 drops of sesame seed oil to the mixture for darker hair. This is a great alternative to dyes.

I have a question ladies.Id like for someone to please explain the difference between a shedding strand vs a strand that has a tiny white ball at the end thats about to split?i keep hearing various thing and i want to know the facts. Also if I cant see a white bulb-like thing at the end of all of my long strands that fall does it mean that its automatically breakage?

seeing a white blub at the top part of the hair is the hair folice which comes from the scalp and thats good breakage because your hair falls out from the root meaning the scalp of your hair, now if your seeing breakage and there is no blub meaning your hair is breaking from the hair shaft and you can find things to help that problem, i hoped this helped

Hi Angee

I am a newbee just signed up today but have been viewing this forum for sometime now..I am natural wearing wigs to grow my hair out it's almost at armpit length..I am young but graying early so I say all this to ask about the sage leaf and black herabal tea mixture..Where can I find it and how do it mix it up to use on my hair?? Also being natural I tend to shed a lot and have breakage..Any suggestions??
