So I'm still trying new things as far as what to do with my hair while it's in the process of growing back. I've always wanted to do a weave but I don't wanna do a sew in or anything. I had a few friends tell me that getting your hair done in a quick weave and getting it re-done every 5-6 weeks and putting it back up again after either a perm, or good wash, condition and protein treatments etc helps it grow back a LOT faster. Now I have no doubt if i'm not putting a lot of heat in my hair that it will help, but what gets me is having to go without putting any kind of moisturizer in it for that long Confused so I really don't know yet.

What do you all think!?

Yes I have to agree on that one. The less you do the more it could possibly grow weaker. Safe safe and work with what is best for you

Yeah weave is not really good. You can't really moisturize you hair and the weave keeps the hair kind of dry. Just use protective styles. Try braids or twists to the scalp. You'll be able to moisturize then.

If you do decide to purchase weave to do your hair these are recommendations
braids:
1 Micro- Human Hair
2. Regular- 100% Kanekalon
3. Wigs- www.celeberitystylewigs.com

Before you use your stocking cap Malika, what do you use to ensure your hair is being thoroughly moisturized?
