I am beginning my own journey..I am 17 months natural and I feel like my hair should be way longer than what it is SERIOUSLY ..I dont know what it is im doing wrong but something must give..So far I am doing good by not clipping ends..I like the two strand twist so this is what I will be wearing for the next 7 months redoing them every 2 weeks as I stated in an earlier post.. I cannot take looking at youtbe videos and how the young ladies have nice growth..I AM STILL ASKING MYSELF WHAT AM I DOING WRONG!! _________________ Malika Baker |

How often did/do you use heat?
Are you constantly keeping your hair moisturized?
I find that the naturals with the most progress; minimize heat, do a lot of protective styles and have their hair moisturized at all times.
17 months would equal about 8 inches give or take a few. How long is your hair in inches? _________________ http://6footlonghair.blogspot.com/

I wish I could say that I use heat once a month but I do not. I use heat twice a month. Even though that is not ridiculously strenuous on my hair strands, I still had to cut back. Since then, I have promoted my hair growth by administering ayurvedic pre-treatments to my hair, bi-weekly protein and moisture treatments, taking Futurebiotics Hair, Skin, and Nails vitamins, and drinking protein shakes. Also, I style my hair with oils, no more butters, just my WGHO. My hair has grown an inch since last month. All I need is my Hairfinity vitamins to make it all complete. _________________ Beautiful Branches Rooted in the Serengeti
