Funny you asked that Ace I was wondering the same thing. It seems like a lot of trial and error from what I read. _________________ Currently: NL

yes, trial and error and Im sick of the error part lmbo,I read the HF homepage side panel topics today and I think they made a valid point which I apparently missed or something when I first stated my journey , I had no idea to use a protein treatment before you shampoo then use a moisturizing conditioner afterward. So,now,I have to complete my Mizani product line with their protein Kerafuse conditioner, and their moisturefuse conditioner for the moisturizing conditioner. The steps are to use the protein conditioner on damp hair for 30 min to an hour, then shampoo with a gentle moisturizing shampoo, then moisturizing conditioner. The confusing part to me is why would hairfinity say do that, but then on another page they said to alternate the weeks in which the protein treatment is used then the other week to do the moisture treatment? _________________ BSL 2011 |

Yeah Ace the error part sucks.
I wonder how that strand test works cause one day it feels like too much protein then the next it feels like not enough protein.
I figure alternating works in the same way as doing protein then moisture. In either case you are balancing the two out.
How do people even know their hair don't like protein?
Ah the challenges of growing healthy hair. _________________ Currently: NL

well, the hair is about 90% protein....there's no way for the hair not to like it unless its done in the wrong ratio.Im learning now about protein and moisture balance. _________________ BSL 2011 |

omg ladies, the Mizani Kerafuse blended in the right ratio for my hair with the Hydrafuse was absolutely nothing less than superb!I used the applicator brush to apply the products to my hair and left on for 15 min under the warm dryer and rinsed,I love my results PLUS my hair smells so dang on good! Its super bouncy and shiny thanks to the CHI silk infusion.I also learned a great way to blowdry my hair with less tangles and minimize breakage.I used a wide tooth comb instead of the Denman and held the blowdryer in a downward motion and combed very carefully from the ends to the top of the shaft. It dried fast. _________________ BSL 2011 |

Motions is good. The leave in conditioner balances moisture!! Also should moisture be from root to tip or just root? |

mizani kerafuse is great for protein but key word is balance but it pairs well exceptionally well with hydrafuse by mizani as well. _________________ BSL 2011 |
