1.Take daily multivitamins
2.Moisturise your hair and remember to seal your ends
3.Deep condition
4.Use Protective Styling
5.Try not to put your hair in styles that may rub against your clothes
6.If you use heat....gonna have to stop for a while, heat leads to more breakage
7.Drink more water
8.Sleep with a satin bonnet to protect your hair at night
9.Try to stretch your relaxer( relaxing every 6 weeks is a recipe for disaster!)
10.Be patient with your hair,it will grow back nicely _________________ long, thick, healthy hair |

all great tips thanks a lot.u know I completely agree with youu about not wearing styles where the hair touches clothing.that alone can snap off strands and cauuse breakage.certain knds of jewelry can snap hair too. CrzyboutHair wrote: | 1.Take daily multivitamins

i suppose you could use the ors mayo as a deep condition but perhaps not every week sinced it is a light protein too.Hey Miss Coco, what do you think about this? _________________ BSL 2011 |

I think you first need to tackel what your hair is lacking...your protein/moisture balnce is off. How I can tell what my hair needs is when wet if my hair feels mushy, limp or lifeless then I def need a protein tx. If my hair just looks and feel dry and dull no mater how often I m&s then I def need a deep moisturizing conditioner w/ heat.
Crzyabouthair gave some good tips. If your doing tips numbers 2,4,6,8 but still having breakage then your imbalnced and your breakage will not stop until this problem is reversed. HTH! and good luck!
Ps. also look at the products your using and check all ingredients since sometimes bad thing are in products we use every day. for example if you use a protein moisturizer daily and often do weekly protein DC's then you can risk a protein overload which causes breakage. |

It sounds weird but I use Mayonaise & Olive Oil. It seems to do the trick! _________________ www.LaceMeUpWigs.com (Black Owned & Operated)

I think that home remedies are best for hair breakage. Put 6 tbsp of olive oil into a small, microwave-safe bowl. Heat the oil until warm, but don't let it get too hot. Apply the oil to your hair from the scalp to the ends. I think that this will prevent hair breakage. _________________ Online Bingo
