What heard that it is called Moisturize and Seal.
I see it as moisturizing with a water based moisturizer and the next step is to to take a oil to seal that moisture in your hair so it will now evaporate out of your hair. If the oil hits your hair before the water the hair will now absorb the water because it is blocked my the oil... cause you know if you have oil on you hand and put water on it, it just rolls of... test it with baby oil if you have.... i am not lying

well I stick to what works for me...you don't necessarily have to follow in that order, everyone's hair is different. What works for some might not work for others. The only rule to growing hair IMO is to keep your moisture and protein balnced everything else is trial and error Wink .

I am loving my oil mixture (jojoba, coconut and olive)! Especially the coconut oil. But I am a bit heavy handed with it and had to deal with oily hair a couple of times.

The coconut oil makes my new growth so soft.

I used the organic, extra virgin coconut oil from the Vitamin shoppe. It is always so warm in my apartment that the coconut oil has not solidified since I bought it. I just added them to a spray bottle and voila! I have an oil mixture that's convenient to use.
