ORS carrot oil is good for sealing as well as thier moisturizing lotion hair fertilizer... they are all water based meaning water is the first ingredient... it is good to seal with oil base moisturizer as well

coco, even though the carrot oil is water based you can still seal with that?i thought you must seal with oils that arent water based...i have the ors carrot oil and i use the pink noveau first then the carrot oil and jojoba to seal i had my regiman twisted lol....i guess using too much oil

I use NTM which is water based, but I seal my hair in one step instead of two. I get two in one and just add oil to my moisturizer. Alot of ppl say that this technique block the moisture from penetrating the hair shaft but I feel that both oil and moisturizer will penetrate regardless of which one is applied first. My hair luvs a water based Moisturizer with added oil, i have not had an issue with dryness or breakage. Very Happy

What heard that it is called Moisturize and Seal.
I see it as moisturizing with a water based moisturizer and the next step is to to take a oil to seal that moisture in your hair so it will now evaporate out of your hair. If the oil hits your hair before the water the hair will now absorb the water because it is blocked my the oil... cause you know if you have oil on you hand and put water on it, it just rolls of... test it with baby oil if you have.... i am not lying
