I was recomended to use Mizani Kerafuse conditioner when I had a hair consultation done. However, the second or third ingredient is Petrolatum and the protein is so far down the list that I am wondering if it has any effect on the hair at all. Is this a good protein conditioner? |

I have not used this line before. But it is considered a high quality product and gets great reviews for its impact on achieving healthy hair. _________________ Current Length: 3-4" to APL (AGAIN!)

Mizani products are great and I have tried them. However, I find Mega Tek is better in the ingredient department. I have thicker hair too. You might want to look into it. |

Hey Eliza another way of using a natural protein treatment try using a raw egg in your hair mask or oil and leave it on for 30 minutes. Then wash as usual. Remember to use a moisturizer afterward. _________________ We are all related!

Great protein conditioner on the market for an affordable value
Organic Root Stimulator Olive Oil Replenishing Conditioner (to add protein, add an egg to your hair first, then apply the conditioner)
Ingredients:aqua (water), glycine soja (soybean) oil, glycerin, olea europaea (olive) oil, hydrolyzed collage, quaternium-80, citrus aurantium dulcis (orange) oil, polyquaternnium-37, propylene glycol dicaprylate/dicaprate, PPG-1 Trideceth-6, panthenol, silk amino acids, PEG-9 dimeticone, athemis nobilis (chamomile) extract, rosmarius officinalis (roesemary) extract, aloe barbedensis leaf juice, achilea millefolium (yarrow) extract, actindia chinensis (kiwi) fruit juice, dimethicone, hydrolyzed glycosaminoglycans, EDTA, Triethanolamine, DMDM Hydantoin, Methychloroisothiazolinone, Methylisothiazolinone, CI 15985 (yellow #6), CI 19140 (Yellow #5).
The best way is the natural way. I just tossed $40.00 worth of products in the toilet today and I am as happy as a lark. I am never looking back to market brands.
Here is a natural conditioner
Avocado oil (2 tablespoons
1/2 plain yogurt
3-5 drops of lemon oil
1-2 eggs, depending upon hair length and fullness.
Mix and apply. Leave in hair under a plastic cap for 2 hours. Rinse with warm water.
By the way, propylene glycol (synthetic ingredient) _________________ Beautiful Branches Rooted in the Serengeti

Great mix Angee, I know how you feel because I threw out a closet filled with products too. Even though I lost money I was still thankful that I did it. I have to wonder why are they trying to kill us with these chemicals! _________________ We are all related!

Oh, they are not trying to kill us. No, they are just trying to make a quick buck. Hey, everybody has to eat. I just wish that they were a little more considerate of the environment and all of its inhabitants. _________________ Beautiful Branches Rooted in the Serengeti

That's why I always say that we as consumer really have to investigate everything. They don't care about our lives or illnesses. If we don't make them responsible then they won't be. I say NO to buying their chemicals and so should we all. I know you do Angee. _________________ We are all related!

I have the Organic Root Stimulator Replinishing conditioner on now as I type,I was wondering since I just used the Aphogee 2 step treatment on the 18th of March how soon should I wait before using another protein source on my hair? _________________ BSL 2011 |
