my hair has been breaking off a lot and im afraid that i will not retain the lenght that i am gaining each month. i've been treating my hair like i'm suppose to( protein and moisture treatments, wash and co-wash plus the vitamins) but I JUST FOUND OUT that when i put in my conditioner treatmenat in the lekair brand, it say two leave- in for 2-5 minutes and rinse out. well guess what i've been doing....... seating under the dryer for 15-20 minutes and rinsing it out . now when i rinse it out at first it feels soft but then it starts to feel like i just washed my hair and rinsed, and its dry. so i was just wondering do you think that may contribute to my hair breakage anyone? also what do you recomend for hair breakage? and yes i eat well drink lots of water, i treat my body good. _________________ LET YOUR TRUE BEAUTY SHINE!!!

Maybe LeKair just isn't for you. I used to do the same thing with my LeKair and never had a breakage problem. I too like the ORS Hair Mayo. I use that for 15 minutes with heat, rinse and follow up with KeraCare Moisturizing Conditioner for Color Treated Hair for 15 minutes with heat. I looove that stuff!! It gives your hair the best slip when detangling. _________________ *The Essence of SEXY* |

Pardon me, but I would like to offer a suggestion.
LeKair is full of sulfates, never a good brand to use.
I recommend that you try this formula
1 medium avocado
1 oz of coconut, grapeseed, and jojoba oils
1 oz of shea butter
1 or 2 cups of Dannon plain yogurt
Mix all of these ingredients into a blender. Apply to the hair in small sections. Cover with a plastic cap and hot towel or us a table top hair dryer. Allow conditioning to set for thirty minutes before rinsing the hair with lukewarm water. _________________ Beautiful Branches Rooted in the Serengeti

Thanks Ace I was a bit skeptical at first for fear of it being sticky and difficult to apply. But I have heard so many good things about honey, I wanna give it a try _________________ Currently: NL

its absolutely wonderful.you are welcome.its great for people especially with damaged hair.I think I may add some to my conditioner mixture when im done with this prepoo and wash.I read somewhere that with regular uuse of honey on the hair it can lighten the color of your hair....shoot that may just be my safe and cheap method of coloring my hair lol.it said if u doont wwant the color of your hair lightening use molasses instead of honey. _________________ BSL 2011 |

I do not think I want lighter hair cause I love jet black hair. But sounds like you can kill 2 birds with one stone with that honey. I do not feel like washing today but on Thursday I will try that dc with honey _________________ Currently: NL
