Hey Arrow!
Have you used the amla powder? I just got some and i'm not quite sure how much water or what else to mix with it. Do you use it instead of shampoo?

Yes I do use it. Use enough water to make a paste. I don't use it in place of shampoo but a pre-shampoo. Start with a tablespoon of water and slowly increase the water until it is like a paste. Put that on from scalp to the ends of your hair and leave on for 15 to an hour (longer if you want) then rinse and shampoo and condition your hair. Your hair will be slamming!

I use it only when I wash my hair, once or twice a week. It can be used everyday too

Your hair will look amazing after a good while use of it. It makes you hair darker, more dense, and so healthy! It also makes your hair grow faster because it cleanses the scalp.

Okay Ladies, one last question, do you wet your hair first, or put it on dry hair?

I do it wet. I always give my hair a good 5 to 10 minute rinse before I apply anything to it.

This is an interesting topic. Well, of course this is an interesting, it is about hair. DUH!

Anyhoo, I would love to try the henna. I did not know that it makes your hair darker. That is great. I wanted to enhance the depth of my hair. I was also wondering whether or not to try the paste on wet or dry hair. Since my hair is kinky, I will try it on towel-dried hair. Unless your hair is naturally straight, I would recommend that your hair is damp before putting on the paste. With this exception, if you are mixing essential oils within your paste, use it on dry hair.

Amla is very good for health.Amla powder is obtained from dry amla fruits. These amla fruits are first washed thoroughly to remove any impurities.I have tried it in different ways- with water, with oil, with oil and egg.It works good either way.It is a natural astringent and skin toner that works on both hair and skin.
