I use a blower with a concentrator only because I do know how to work the ones with a brush. I need to invest in one that has a pick attachment. I am thinking about getting the phusion model or hot tools tourmaline and ionic, but I have not settled on a brand just yet.

I meant that one that comes attached with a brush. It's sort of like brushing you hair with it when your drying.

I have used them both and if your not as experience as a stylist with the brush and separate blower then the brush is good. I can blow my hair much better with the brush attached, but I have to curl the end separate.

As long as I have a blow dryer with a pik, then I am pretty cool, other than that, I am lost as all hell. Besides, my hair is so dry after blowdrying without a pik. Maybe I should just skip it all together.

My hair is so porous that after ten minutes of me detangling it, it becomes 50% dry, so the blow dryer has to be used within five minutes of me washing my hair, that is if I choose to use it.
