Ok, so im sitting here with my god baby and i noticed she keeps pulling at her ponytail. When she pulls, all i see is dry hair fly!! Why is her hair shedding like this? She is only three!! Her mom, my bff, says she cannot get her hair to grow how she wants it and its unmanageable. Its reallly dry. What can she use? Crying or Very sad

Wow. I'm sorry if it sounds offensive, but its sad that the mother has categorized her child's hair as unmanageable. What a negative way to make a baby feel about her hair. She obviously needs to take better care of it.

Does she wash her baby's hair? Does she moisturize it everyday before styling? Does she take the time out to even bother with her hair?

Just these simple task will make a HUGE difference. Castor Oil is good for growth and most likely would do wonders for her dry scalp. And I think a washing with a mild shampoo would do her good as well.

She needs to go with a more natural regimen. Like Jolie said, try CD. There is this organic stuff that is good for growth and stuff but I don't know the name of it.

I will do a search!

EDIT///

Try telling her mom to invest in a nice jar of coconut oil from the health food store and massage it into her scalp every night. This will definely combat that dryness. Also check what type of shampoo she is using her on hair. It sounds like her hair is being stripped, the reason why it won't grow (or seems like it) and it's dry. It may be to harsh. try groganics.

Not to mention, the stuff is cheap!

Also you can chopped up some garlic and put it in the shampoo. This will stop shedding quickly.
