A lot of women believe that since their hair is chemically treated that their hair will not reap the benefits from natural hair care products. Well, let me tell you that that cannot be the furthest thing from the truth. Natural products work for all hair types, textures, whether chemically or thermally treated.
So, if you are tired of always lending on your stylist's shoulders for 100% hair care, why not step over to the natural side. Remember, you do not have to natural in order to be natural.

Congrats, Arrow.
See how time flies? BTW, how is your hair after its 2nd month because from what I have seen, you have been investing in a number of natural products. Is your hair adjusting to its new regimens? _________________ Beautiful Branches Rooted in the Serengeti

Angee at first I couldn't deal with the sponginess but now with a better conditioner (nature's gate) I can deal with all issues. The one thing that I still cannot do is to let my hair down. It still gets too wild but I am trying to solve that. Thanks for asking _________________ We are all related!

You are welcome. I have a possible solution. I do not have a lot of length, but boy the thickness is crazy. I would love to wear my have out but I have to maintain its look first. So, what I do is oil the hair [the scalp very lightly] and braid it up. Which directions I choose to braid it in depends upon the look that I wish to achieve. In addition, if I want goddess curls, I do big braids, medium size braids for a bohemian fro, and small [micro] braids for a wet and wavy look. _________________ Beautiful Branches Rooted in the Serengeti

The only problem I have with oil is that it builds up too too much on my hair. I start oiling lightly and by day 2 my hair is a greasy mess. I will take your advice on the braids though, Thank you _________________ We are all related!

Arrow,
Are you sure you do not have oily hair or scalp? Your situation seems pretty similar to an individual who does have oily hair and scalp. _________________ Beautiful Branches Rooted in the Serengeti

Angee I tell you truthfully that I have no clue anymore! I don't know why .somethings work and the majority don't. I am really trying to understand my hair and what it is saying but I just don't get it. _________________ We are all related!

Angee I heard on T.V that Michael was not breathing when the ambulance arrived. Did you hear that too? I remember thinking how long was he not breathing? _________________ We are all related!

You are welcome, Arrow.
Heal the world
Make it a better place
For you and for me
And the entire human race....

If you care enough for the living
Make a better place for you and for me
