Umm you aren't supposed to relax your ends. I don't know why people do that.
That probably falls between hair type and how well and how long the relaxer was done. _________________

wow i alwayz relax my ends. as for hair type and all let me shed light to the issue- when i perm my hair the whole process only takes about 15-20 minutes. when eveyone else in my family perms their hair it takes 30+ minutes and their hair comes out frizzy everytime. (and oh yeah their hair is a whole lot thicker than mine) _________________

Oh honey you shouldn't perm your ends. Or any other hair that has been previously permed for that matter. It over processes it and then breaks off!
I use to do that too until someone told me.
I'm not really sure about your family's hair. My cousin has hair like that too but she has alot of native American as well. My hair can get like this from time to time as well. I don't really have an explanation on this. Your family may need to invest in the Japanese straightening system. _________________

JP is correct, It will break off in the long run. I know it looks great when it's done but you will regret it later. So, keep up with your regimens for better moisture. _________________ We are all related!

You can blow them out or flat iron. Make sure you use something in the hair to protect it like a balm. You will see a difference and love it too _________________ We are all related!

Hey sweetie don't let anyone do whatever they want to your hair. It's your hair, if they mess it up an I'm sorry won't get it back. Very nicely you can say that your want only the roots relaxed. Tell them if will break your hair off otherwise. If they refuse then maybe it's time to look for another salon. You are paying them to do what YOU want. Not the other way around. That's why I hate the hair stylists. How they gonna tell me about my hair and its on my head. I nearly slapped the last one I went to. Obviously what I'm doing to my hair is getting me length, so don't tell me to CHANGE MY REGIMEN! All they do is give me a DECENT relaxer and thats it.
Don't let anyone tell you what they want or do what they want to your head girl, TRUST ME! I had a BIG OL' BALD SPOT in the back of my head for the world to see because I TRUSTED a hair stylist with my hair and let her do whatever she wanted. Til this day, I still can't get that patch on my head right and it's been about 3 years. But I'm going to try something and hopefully it works.
Don't relax your ends. Your hair will never seem to grow if you do that. Your ends will be brittle and break. Not to mention your ends are the DRIEST PART OF YOUR HAIR SHAFT AND YOUR SCALP'S NATURAL OIL HARDLY EVER REACHES THERE so you are literally destroying your hair strand, everytime you do that! OMG! Please stop relaxing your ends! Your ends shouldn't be frizzy if they are being taken care of. Oil them DAILY and you will see a difference. If you want them straight, flat iron it. That's what its there for anyway. To straighten. Never relax your hair to straighten, relax to manage.
Man I need to get started on that topic about gettin your mind right _________________
