From what I understand if you must use a brush it should be made of Boar bristles. I have noticed that there are more blower brushes made of Boar now. Are you using one? |

As a matter of fact, I am, although I do not use brush blow dryers. However, I am a very proud owner of a Diane Boar Bristle/Soft Bristle brush. It is double-sided. And I got it for a cheap price. It was only $6.99. Compare that to a $14.99 brush you would usually buy at a high-end beauty supply. _________________ Beautiful Branches Rooted in the Serengeti

I understand that it redistributes the oil in your hair. Are you happy with it? _________________ We are all related!

I love it, but what I am not happy with is that I spent $6.00 bucks on a Hype Hair Nylon brush that I do not even use. I thought that it was boar bristle, it looked boar-bristle in the store, but when I got home, and checked on the website (which I should have done before), I noticed that it was nylon. So, I only use it when I am wearing high ponytails, which is not very often because I hate wearing ponytails. They are too low-maintenance for me. _________________ Beautiful Branches Rooted in the Serengeti

Really I love to wear ponytails because it's easy. I have a lot of hair and I can't control it. So, a ponytail is the only way I know how to fix it quick. By the way, I have a ton of hairbrushes too that are nylon. Boar is so much more costly but better for you. How can you tell at the store that you're not buying nylon? _________________ We are all related!

As you know, I had to learn the hard way. Boar bristle brushes have black and gray bristles, whereas nylon brushes (as you know) are hard and rough in texture. Boar bristle brushes are smoother when rubbed across the palm. _________________ Beautiful Branches Rooted in the Serengeti

Thanks to you I am going through all my brushes now. I have a hair brush but not a blower brush made of Boar. Now I know what to look out for. Thank you! _________________ We are all related!
