How often did/do you use heat?
Are you constantly keeping your hair moisturized?

I find that the naturals with the most progress; minimize heat, do a lot of protective styles and have their hair moisturized at all times.
17 months would equal about 8 inches give or take a few. How long is your hair in inches?

I wish I could say that I use heat once a month but I do not. I use heat twice a month. Even though that is not ridiculously strenuous on my hair strands, I still had to cut back. Since then, I have promoted my hair growth by administering ayurvedic pre-treatments to my hair, bi-weekly protein and moisture treatments, taking Futurebiotics Hair, Skin, and Nails vitamins, and drinking protein shakes. Also, I style my hair with oils, no more butters, just my WGHO. My hair has grown an inch since last month. All I need is my Hairfinity vitamins to make it all complete. Very Happy

I suggest hiding your hair. You know, maybe doing a protective style 2 months at a time. You should be able to retain all of your length if you still moisturize and wash your hair.
