Very Happy Can anyone suggest a good texturizer? And do texturizers work on relaxed hair?

Hi Brown Angel from what I hear a texturizer is a mild relaxer. I wouldn't go over a relaxer with it.

Brown Angel Beauty,

If you are already using relaxers, then I would not suggest using a texturizer at all. The reason for this is texturizers are used to smooth the texture of the hair, ergo, stretching and elongating the curl pattern. On the other hand, relaxers temporarily alter the texture and curl pattern of the hair strands, smoothing the kinks, curls, or waves to the point that they are non-existent.

In my opinion, the best texturizer is Soft & Beautiful. It is mild and can be used on all hair types and textures. It softens the curl.
