i think the key is getting the moisture in there. I take my time in the shower with my large teeth comb. then i add leave ins add tie a folded scarf on my hair line

never tried cocoa butter on hair love it on my skin though. I will give it a try considering i use shea butter on skin and hair

i have a boar brisle brush. It stll pulls my hair out but not as bad as those with plastic bristles. i try to minimize the brushing. just enough to set the style and thats it!

if you don't want to do the big chop you must keep that new growth soft. deep condition more often. try braids but keep the braids moisturized daily with a spray

i use egg as my protein treatment once a month. i mix it with a little conditioner. its the best protei treatment ever. (i leave it on for an hour) oh and don't use heat the egg will cook on your head

was very excited to try dr. miracles until i looked at the ingredients. It has mineral oil in it so i didn't buy it. I do use deep conditioners with oils because it is not staying in my hair
