Hey ladies. Here's a recipe I found on another hair forum for "Boundless Tresses". It's not the same exact ingredients and you can tweak the ingredients to meet your own needs, but it has the main ingredient in it -- sulfur. Hope this recipe will help you ladies save some money and get fabulous hair growing results. I just ordered my ingredients today.

2 teaspoons sulfur
4 oz jojoba oil
3 oz olive oil
4 oz coconut oil
10 drops essential oil (your choice)

Directions: Put sulfur in bottle first, then add oil. Shake well. Use like BT.

**All these ingredients can be found at amazon.com. However, www.americarx.com sells the sulfur powder for a cheaper price.**

I'll be using sweet almond oil instead of jojoba oil (it's cheaper), lavender EO, and adding castor oil to the recipe.

HHG!!

Yes. Sulfur is a yellow powder.

It's supposed to act like Boundless Tresses to accelerate hair growth.

I just received all of my ingredients yesterday so I haven't tried it yet. I'll be taking pictures to document my growth and posting them here (I have to figure out how). I bought my sulfur from amazon.com; hopefully they ship internationally.

Hey Diamond Diva,
I have another question for you. How did you know how much of each ingredient to make your recipe? I ordered boundless tresses and it has a slight smell, so someone suggested that I put peppermint oil in it and that messed it up because the peppermint oil had way too strong of a smell. So I am going to make your recipe of the boundless tresses instead of ordering it again. I was just curious how you knew how much of each ingredient to put in.

I got the recipe from another hair forum so that's how I knew how much of each ingredient to include. I've tweaked the recipe for myself however by using 2 oz of castor oil and 2 oz of coconut oil instead of a full 4 oz of coconut oil. I added about 11 drops of lavender essential oil. It doesn't smell too strong to me, but you should start out with only a few drops of the EO of your choice at first and then add more if you like. Another tip I suggest is after you add some oil to the sulfur powder stir it so you won't get any clumps. Then add your remaining oils. Lastly, handle the sulfur powder with caution. Clean your area and measuring tools thoroughly after using the powder. I know I wrote a bit of a book, but HTH!

Sounds like a great recipe! Sulfur is supposed to be the KEY hair growing component. But be careful, because too much can make your scalp dry & flaky, and leave a residue. Overkill will not yield faster results. Even though we'd all like to have hair to our booties by in the morning! Laughing

I did my regular reggie Nov. 1 and used the Homemade Boundless Tresses (HBT). So far my scalp feels fine and it didn't leave a residue so I guess 2 teaspoons is enough, though definately no more than that. The only thing I don't like is that I can still smell the sulfur even though I added a few more drops of lavender essential oil. The smell of the previous 11 drops faded away. I just sprayed on a bit of shine serum to mask the smell. I'll be posting before and after pics in a few months (if the results are worth posting) and I'm only going to be using the HBT every three days after I wash my hair. Right now I'm not taking any vitamins so the growth you'll see will be all regimen and HBT.

Here's the regimen I'll be using while trying out the HBT:

prepoo with ORS Replenishing Pack
wash with Nexxus Therappe shampoo
DC with VO5 Moisture Milks and All Ways Natural Moisturizing Conditioner

This will be done every three days. I'll use the HBT after I wash my hair and I'll be moisturizing my hair with BB Castor Oil Moisturizing Lotion and Cantu Shea Butter Grow Strong. I'll be sealing my ends with castor oil.

DD, that sounds like a great regimen. Will you use heat with with your conditioner?

Oh most definately. I use heat for both my prepoo and my DC. I use a hot wet towel for my prepoo for 20 minutes and then a heat cap with my DC for 30 minutes.

I'm changing my regimen. I'm going to use the HBT everyday while following the Fast Healthy Hair Growth Regimen featured on www.kenabrewer.com.
